We have recently learned that our colleague Pat Hill has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer and is
undergoing chemo and radiation prior to surgery. When I asked her if we could do anything for her,
her response was “PRAY!”. I hope you will pray and I am including Pat’s home address so that you might
drop her a card or note of encouragement.

Pat had robotic surgery on April 20th Following is a note from her:
"I'm feel ing really great physically. Haven't felt this good in years. For a while I had thought I would die,
and hoped that I would. The chemo had really been rough. It was a pump that went 24/7 for about 4 weeks.
The radiation was no picnic either. After a while with much prayer, I began to feel better each day.
I found out how depression felt. I did not want to take meds for it since life had to be faced eventually.
Allow the Lord to be the antidepressant. It's knowing that all of the prayers sent up helped immensly. Thank you all so much.
want to thank all who sent cards and gifts for your thoughtfulness. They did cheer me up.
You are the greatest, and I do hope that I will be able to get back into the swing of things quickly. My sense of humor has returned.
I hated having to miss the May meeting and the seminar on Girl Talk. Wish that there were tapes on it. I love the educational meetings.
They are excellent. Our chapter is the greatest. God bless all of you.
